Tickets & Coupon Sheets

  • Tickets can be purchased from schoolsoutfest.com.au through Megatix.

    Upon arrival you will need to visit the Box Office in the Foyer of PCEC and have your tickets scanned to receive your Coupon Sheet and Adult Entry Passes.

    You can redeem your Coupon Sheet and Adult Entry Passes up to 30 minutes before your start time.

    All patrons need a Coupon Sheet or an Adult Entry Pass to ENTER.

  • One Child’s ticket entitles the Child to one School’s Out Winter Fest Coupon Sheet which can be redeemed at the Box Office on the day and includes:

    • 1 x City of Light Ice Rink Experience (child use only)

    • 3 x Snow Slides (child use only)

    • 10 x Rides (child use only)

    • 4 x Adult Rider Passes (rides only)

    • 1 x Adult Entry

    All activities included on a child’s ticket are non-transferable and non-refundable. Adults and children can only use the activities that are allocated to them on the ticket. Any activity that is not used on the child’s ticket cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded.

    Coupons cannot be used on sideshow games, Showbags, food any other offer within School’s Out Winter Fest. Coupons and passes are for the stated purpose on the coupon. No exceptions.

    Any patron seen selling/giving away incomplete Coupon Sheets, Coupons or Passes, or receiving unused Coupon Sheets, Coupons or Passes will be asked to leave or refused entry into the venue. No exceptions.

    Additional rides, games and ice skating can be purchased on the day if available.

  • No. Every Child and Adult needs a valid Coupon Sheet or Pass to enter the event. If you do not purchase enough tickets for your family, you will need to pay the Box Office price for additional patrons. If the time slot is sold out, the additional patrons may be refused entry.

  • All children aged between 3 to 17 years old will need a child’s ticket to enter. Please check our attractions list to make sure your child is suitable for the activities on offer. No refunds will be provided.

  • Yes, tickets can be purchased on the day for entry times that are not sold out:

    CHILD $59
    ADULT $19

    Online ticket pricing differs from Box Office prices as each entry time has a limited allocation. We are better able to monitor and control patron numbers when tickets are bought online. Patrons are motivated to be prepared and pre-buy tickets online to discourage Box Office queues and sales. Patrons are discouraged from buying tickets at the Box Office because we have a limited allocation. Once it is SOLD OUT online, then it is SOLD OUT at the Box Office too.

    No entry will be permitted for patrons who do not have a ticket once the start time is SOLD OUT.

  • No. All School's Out Winter Fest Coupon Sheets are only valid for the time and date of entry. Any torn or half used Coupon Sheets will not be granted entry on another day or re-entry on the same day. School's Out Winter Fest Coupon Sheets are one time use only. If you do not use all the attractions on the School's Out Winter Fest Coupon Sheet it is forfeited.

    Any patron found giving their unused School's Out Winter Fest Coupon Sheet to another patron will have their tickets cancelled for them and the patron, and will be immediately asked to leave the venue. NO exceptions.

  • No. Your School's Out Winter Fest Coupon Sheet is your access to all the activities.

    Any lost or damaged Coupon Sheets will not be replaced. No exceptions.

  • The only difference is price. Presale, Earlybird and 2nd release tickets have a limited allocation and therefore will not be available once sold out. Every Child ticket will still have the same benefits no matter if you buy PRESALE, Final release or at the Box Office.

    Our suggestion is to get in early and take advantage of the limited allocation of tickets. Once EARLYBIRD and 2ND release tickets are sold out, that price is no longer available and patrons must purchase at the Final Release ticket pricing (online ONLY) or at the Box Office.

    EARLYBIRD pricing is the best pricing available for Child Tickets, once the allocation is exhausted we will not be able to offer this pricing to any additional purchases.

  • No worries! We are environmentally conscious and prefer to scan tickets off mobile phones. Please have either your printed tickets ready for scanning or have the barcode clearly visible on your phone.

    Please ensure your screen brightness is turned up on your smartphone and that the screen is not excessively smashed or cracked.

  • Yes, the Companion Card must be presented by the companion at the Box Office along with the paying patron they are accompanying.

    Companion Card tickets will be issued at the event. No online tickets are available for Companion Card holders.

  • PRESALE Discount is based on BOX OFFICE price ($59) for CHILD Tickets only, which include ONE FREE Adult. Additional adult tickets are $15+bf online or $19 at the Box Office.

  • Yes. Afterpay is offered through our ticketing partner, Megatix. Afterpay handles all payment related matters, and Megatix handles the tickets.

  • School's Out Winter Fest 2024 is OPEN DAILY, from Sat 29 June - Sun 14 July with staggered entry times:

    11:00am

    Patrons can stay until we close at 6:00 pm each day.

    Entry times are strictly enforced and patrons arriving late or on the wrong day will be refused entry. Please make sure you check the date and time of your entry ticket to avoid disappointment by being denied entry.

  • When you purchase your tickets, you will select an entry time i.e. 9am, 10am, 11am etc. These times dictate what time you are allowed to enter the event. You MUST enter at the time on your ticket.

    We will allow patrons to collect their Coupon Sheets 30 mins before the start of their entry time and line up in the designated area in the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre Foyer.

    Patrons can stay until close at 6:00 pm each day. Early or late entry will NOT be permitted.

  • Staggered entry times are required for patron safety in the venue and so everyone has an enjoyable experience at School's Out Winter Fest. The number of patrons that are in the venue at any one time will be limited. Early and late entry will NOT be permitted.

  • Entry MAY not be permitted 30 mins after your entry time. ENTRY is NOT guaranteed if you are LATE. Any latecomers will need to purchase a new entry ticket at the next available entry time at the advertised Door Price. No exceptions and no discounts. Any SOLD OUT entry times will have no door sales. Entry to sold out start times will not be permitted, even for latecomers.

  • There are NO time limits once you enter School’s Out Winter Fest. Patrons can stay as long as we close at 6pm. Most patrons finish their activities in 2 - 3 hours.

    Everyone will need to exit the venue by 6pm. Please be mindful that if you purchase a 3pm entry time, you will still need to leave at 6pm. No exceptions and no extra time will be permitted. No refunds will be provided if you do not use all activities included on the School’s Out Winter Fest Coupon Sheet.

  • No. Once you enter the venue, you are not allowed to exit or enter at your will. Once you exit the venue, you are not allowed to re-enter and will be refused entry at the door. Tickets are for a one-time entry ONLY.

    Patrons are not allowed to enter on another day with partially used School’s Out Winter Fest Coupon Sheets. No exceptions and no allowances.

    A FULL Coupon Sheet is required to enter the event.

  • Yes, the Box Office, Games & Ice skating rink will accept cash and card payments. The Sideshow Games and food vendors also accept cash and card payments.

  • No. Pets are not allowed into School's Out Winter Fest.

  • Yes, School's Out Winter Fest is pram friendly. No responsibility will be taken for prams left at the venue. It is up to the patron to be responsible for their own pram at ALL TIMES.

  • School's Out Winter Fest has a range of food and beverages available including hot and cold options including coffee.

  • Snacks can be brought into the venue. Large amounts of hot or cold food, birthday cakes, esky’s and picnic baskets cannot be brought into the event due to health and safety regulations and space limitations.

    If you plan on bringing a large group for a Birthday please contact us here beforehand to discuss with management.

  • Limited seats will be available at the venue. Please ensure that all patrons who enter the venue are capable of walking and standing for long periods of time.

    BOX Office Prices on the day will be more expensive. Our suggestion is to pre-buy tickets online to save and avoid disappointment.

    Once Online Only prices are exhausted, only box office prices will be available (if the start time is not sold out). All sold out start times will not have any box office sales.

  • 1 x School’s Out Winter Fest Coupon Sheet has included 1 x Adult Entry and 4 x Adult Rider Passes. Any additional adults need a ticket to enter the venue, this can be purchased online or at the box office. No ticket, No entry. No exceptions.

    Additional Adult tickets include ENTRY ONLY. They do not include Adult Rider passes.

    Carnival rides are not suitable for everyone, please check the website to ensure you are making the most of your visit to School's Out Winter Fest. The Snow slide is not suitable for adults.

  • You will notice online prices have +BF which indicates a small Booking Fee that is charged by the ticketing agency at checkout.

    ‘+BF’ does NOT mean ‘plus BEST FRIEND’.

    The Booking Fee amount differs, depending on your order total. Booking Fees cover the cost of the ticketing agency to provide your tickets and are not refundable.

  • Concession and pension cards are not accepted. No discounts are applicable when presenting these cards at the door or online.

    We ONLY accept COMPANION CARDS.

  • Under 3’s do not need a ticket to enter, however they will not receive a School's Out Winter Fest Coupon Sheet and will not be able to use any of the attractions for free.

    Adults can NOT enter for free with under three.

    All rides and attractions require coupons or tokens to use them.

    Please be aware that attractions at School's Out Winter Fest are generally not suitable for ages under 3. Please check our Attractions list for details and restrictions for each ride, as most are not suitable for children under 3 and others are not suitable for adults. Before you purchase additional tokens for under 3’s or adults please make sure you can use them in full as they are NON-REFUNDABLE.

  • No. Tickets are NON- REFUNDABLE so please choose wisely.

    If you purchased Refundable ticket protection, you must contact XCover.com to request a refund.

  • You will be able to change session times, up to 24 hours prior to your allocated entry time.

    You can change your tickets in your Megatix account under My Orders, or email support@megatix.com.au.

    Any tickets that are not changed 24hrs before their entry time will not be permitted into another entry time. No exceptions.

    You will not be able to transfer your Tickets to a Sold out session time.

  • Yes. You can sell your ticket via Tixel which provides a safe and easy place for you to sell your ticket to another fan.

    To sell your ticket please go to tixel.com/sell and follow the prompts.

    ​If you have already found a buyer for your ticket but want to complete the transaction safely, you can create a private sale by selecting the ‘make my listing private’ option at the final step.

Refunds & Changing Tickets

Ice Skating & Snow Slide

  • Adults with children over 5 years old, who want to go on the ice rink with their child will have to pay for entry. Payment can be made at the Ice Rink inside the venue.

    Adults with children under 5 are welcome to accompany their child on the ice rink, free of charge. Ice Rink attendants will determine a patrons eligibility for this benefit.

    All other adults who want to use the ice rink will need to pay for entry on the ice. Payment can be made at the Ice Rink check-in, inside the venue.

  • No, for safety the snow slide is only for children and has maximum height and weight restrictions that must be adhered too. No exceptions and no allowances.

    Minimum Height: 100cm
    Maximum Weight: 80kg

  • Your safety and the safety of your little one is paramount, for this reason alone we don’t allow you to ride or skate at any stage of your pregnancy. However you can purchase tokens to play games and other activities.

  • Not at all! Parents are able to watch their kids skate around the ice from the sidelines.

    Little Skaters (Under 5) MUST be accompanied on the ice at all times by a Big Skater (18+).

  • Lucky you, please feel free to bring them along. However all ticket prices do include FREE skate hire and no discounts will be offered if providing your own.

  • Skates range from a child’s size 12 to an adult size 13. We also have Double Runners available for the little ones.

    Don’t forget to bring your socks! We will also have socks for sale at the rink.

  • The penguins have waddled their way to the West Coast and are there to help you through the winter. The Penguins are there to help, by having something to keep you stable and to push around the rink. They are more suited for the little ones, although adults are welcome to try and NO, they don’t bite.

    A limited number of penguins have made the journey.

    The rink barriers also act as a great support for those a little unsure.

  • Yes, the penguins are a popular aid and there is only a designated amount available.

  • We strongly recommend wearing comfortable, warm clothing. Don’t forget to keep your fingers and toes warm, that ice rink is chilly!

    Must BYO Socks! We will have a limited amount available for sale on the day.

  • For those with little feet and questionable balance, double runner skates will be available. The Double Runners simply strap over the top of your enclosed shoe to keep your child on their feet for a bit longer. Double runners are limited so please arrive early if you require these.

  • Most definitely! Wheelchairs are allowed on the ice, and ticket includes the companion for FREE.

  • All Little Skaters (under 5) must be accompanied at all times on the rink by a Big Skater (18+).

    We ask that parents use their discretion when doing iceskating for the really little ones, you will know your child better than anyone so please gauge their ability on walking, running and other leisure activities.

    Generally speaking the youngest skaters are around the two year old mark.

    Penguin skate aids are HIGHLY recommended for Little Skaters. Limited availability of penguin skate aids available.

  • Skaters are not permitted to carry babies or Little Skaters on the ice. All skaters must wear ice skates when on the ice. Skaters can provide a helping handing (or use available penguin skate aid) to the Little Skaters, however carrying them in arms is not permitted.

Carnival Rides

  • All of our Carnival Rides have height requirements and age restrictions. Please refer to the Attractions list on the website for the minimum requirements of each carnival ride.

  • Yes. However adults will need an Adult Rider Pass or tokens to ride. Each child and each adult will need the required tokens or coupons (stated on the venue signage) each to go on carnival rides together.

    You can ride with your child on:

    • Dodgem Cars

    • Fiesta Balloon

    • Dream Swinger

    • Storm

    • Cup & Saucer

    • Runaway Train

    Adults are unable to participate on:

    • Taxi Jets

    • Inflatable Rides
